 The IHDA has been committed to the betterment of the hustle dance community for the past decade. Our mission is multi-faceted. Goals of the organization include: the growth of hustle in the social dance community, the standardization of sanctioned events and contest guidelines, and the open communication between hustle dancers from all parts of the world.
Call for Presidential Election platforms to be submitted in Jan 2012
Submit your Platform:
IHDA is seeking interested parties for the elected position of the 2012-2014 President. If you have been an active member of IHDA for at least one year, possess leadership qualities, love Hustle and want to help further our pursuit of establishing Hustle as a social, competitive and artistic dance form, then you could be a candidate for the position.
IHDA would like all interested parties to summit their biographies and platforms no later than March 10th. Active IHDA members will vote for the candidate of their choice 2 weeks prior to taking office. The winning candidate will be announced end of March for new President to take office in April 2012.
If you are interested or know of someone who is interested in the position, submit your bio and platform early. Please be sure to review the constitution on the IHDA website for guidance and information on becoming the next IHDA President. As an active member you are eligible to participate in the election process.

Competition Points Award: As a member, by accumulating points, IHDA recognizes those Amateurs, Professionals and Teachers who have worked hard competing and promoting the dance hustle by awarding you with cash prizes.
Why shouldn't you be the next recipient for CASH PRIZES. You have to be in it to win it.
Cash prizes to win are:
$200 for Professionals
$100 for Amateurs
So, be sure to compete in as many divisions at sanctioned events to accumulate those points in order to win. These prizes will be presented at the next assigned sanctioned venue Points Award Ceremony.

IHDA Calendar of Events
As the year is ending for 2011 and a New Year is beginning IHDA would like to stay up to date with all the hustle parties and venues throughout the country and abroad. This calendar is open to all viewers (member and nonmembers). It is a great way to promote your future parties and it is free.
If you have a party, workshop, event and gathering where hustle is the main event and would like to have it added to the calendar please contact us. Plus, if you have a weekly and/or monthly event that we have been posting please send us confirmation that the event still continues or if the ongoing event is about to expire or has expired.
